Two lakes. One legend.

Two private carp fishing estates in Normandy, 30 km apart and within easy reach of the Channel ferries.

Each estate stands alone, with its own lake, its own lodge and its own gate. Each is booked by one group at a time, so the water is yours for the week. No day tickets, no shared banks.

Asgard is the original: a proven big-fish water where the average runs over 35 lb. Albart is the next chapter: two acres of deep water built around a lodge with its own pool, opening in March 2027. Two different places, run by the same people, to the same standard.

The lodge is your bivvy

Albart is built around one idea: never be far from your rods. The main swim sits right in front of the lodge, with room for two or three anglers, so you're at your rods in seconds. Beyond it lie two acres of deep water, up to 11.5 ft over most of the lake, with a majestic island at its heart.

Swims
A double at the lodge, two singles at the far end, and the island for stalking

One group per lake. One week at a time.

Every big fish has a name

Thor, Odin, Loki, Fenrir. At Asgard, each of the big carp is known, weighed and named, and anglers come back year after year to meet one in particular.

Weights are approximate and move with the seasons.

Your swim. Your home.

Each estate has its own house on the water, reserved for your group alone for the week. A kitchen built for long evenings, bedrooms with a view of the lake, and a bed you can actually sleep in between runs.

The Asgard lodge

Sleeps six

A refurbished, air-conditioned bungalow facing the water, with two twin rooms and a double, an open-plan kitchen and lounge, and a south-facing terrace looking down the lake. Swim 1 sits just opposite, so on the right night the house becomes your bivvy.

Outside there's a barbecue, a hammock, a football pitch and a children's adventure forest with a zip line and ninja course. Bivvies are already set up on the other swims, with electricity and Wi-Fi.

The Albart lodge

Sleeps twelve

A large house on the bank where every bedroom looks out over the lake. A kitchen and dining room made for twelve, generous living space, and a heated pool reserved for your group.

The main swim is right outside the front door. Families by the pool, anglers on the rods, and everyone at the same table in the evening.

What it feels like

A week at Asgard, in ninety seconds.

  1. The wait

No traffic, no neighbours, no other anglers. Just water, trees and your own alarms.

  2. The take

Legendia carp don't nudge the bobbin. They rip line off the spool and keep going. Twenty-minute fights are normal here.

  3. The net

The mesh closes on a fifty and the whole bank goes quiet. That's the one you came for.

From the bank at Asgard

“From the moment the gate slides open, the magic begins. The carp are exceptional, the venue stunning and completely detoxing, until that alarm goes.”

Hilary H., November 2023

“Another fantastic trip to probably my favourite fishing venue in France. The facilities are absolutely top notch. You will not want for anything.”

Jeff, March 2023

“What a lake, and what a fantastic host. These fish are on steroids and will give you the strongest fight you have ever had.”
