Designed for Fish Safety
New Weighing System
At Legendia Carp, we have introduced a new weighing system designed to improve fish safety while making the process easier and more flexible for anglers.
This system allows carp to be weighed either on the bank above the cradle or directly in the water, depending on the situation and the size of the fish.
For big carp, especially those close to or above 45 lb, weighing and photographing the fish in the water is strongly recommended. If you suspect a fish is around this weight while it is still in the landing net, please use your waders and carry out the full process in the water: weighing, photos and release. Don’t hesitate to ask your friends for help
The depth of water in front of the swims has been carefully considered for this purpose, and floating air cradles are available to make in-water handling calm and secure. In many cases, anglers find that photos taken in the water are not only safer, but also easier and more natural.
This new system is here to give you more control, better fish care and a smoother experience when handling big carp. Thank you for helping us protect the fish and the future of Legendia Carp.
