Deep in the Normandy countryside, about twenty minutes from Asgard, Albart is a place where the loudest sound is your bite alarm.
A lush forest grows a few metres from the bank and a river runs alongside the estate. No roads within earshot, no neighbours, no other anglers: for the week, the lake is yours.
At its heart sits a majestic island, the centrepiece of the lake, surrounded by deep water and fishable from every swim.
Each swim takes its name from one of the world's great ancient mysteries. Seen from above, they form the five of a domino, with Oracle Island at the centre.

Sheltered by a century-old tree that watches over you, Cusco is a comfortable swim with plenty of water to work: the margins of the island, a small bay and the reed-lined edges.
Here you're surrounded by water, with the river a few metres away and a wide stretch of the lake in front of you, including shallower plateaus that can produce big fish.

In 2026 we carried out major work across the estate, with one aim: a better experience on the bank.
A completely redesigned water supply, bringing a continuous flow of fresh, oxygenated water into the lake and keeping the level stable all year round.
A new drainage system, to keep the lake healthy and the water in the best possible condition for the fish.
Reworked and reinforced banks, for swims that are comfortable, stable and safe from the first session.
New planting around the lake, to shelter the swims and bring the banks to life.
